The Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Parks is the site of the ruins of a 1,500-year-old Hohokam village. Here visitors can explore the ruins and see reproductions of the people’s homes as they were hundreds of years ago. They can also explore exhibits highlighting the now-extinct Hohokam culture.

At the intersection at Southern and Rural in Tempe you can find the Tempe Public Library complex. This library does not just offer two floors of books for all ages, but also holds public computers for anyone with a library card. In the building are also a variety of public services, and studded throughout are historic pictures of the Tempe that was.
